Lovely scented nose of red fruits and nut. A note like damp earth after rain. And perhaps even a light coffee note. This has very nice tension from near the front. It takes on a spray of fine, tilth-like minerals. The acidity within is crisp red apples and it’s a nicely long thing, this. The death suggests a wisp of bitter grapefruit pith that only serves to make the whole thing more refreshing. A structured thing with grip that appears to contain some tannin. Good with or without food: a versatile thing, evidently!
